Knights of the Eucharistic Crusade at the Catholic Parish in Szczuczyn Nowogródzki between 1936-38

Summary/Abstract: In the previous issue of the Yearbook of the Lublin Genealogical Society I published an article entitled Members of the Archconfraternity of the Honorary Guard of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Szczuczyn Nowogródzki between 1936-38 - a contribution to genealogical research. I found these materials in the parish archives in Szczuczyn in Belarus, studying the history of the Piarist order. During this query I came across a few documents regarding the activity of this order in this town during the period of the Second Polish Republic. There are several documents describing religious organizations operating at the parish church among them. Another interesting material that facilitates genealogical research is the document regarding the activities of the female Eucharistic Crusade at the Szczuczyńska parish. This document will certainly facilitate and complement the search of genealogists and those who write the history of their families. Three censuses were selected for editing: 1. a list of the names of the crusade’s founders; 2. a census with the division into school classes and place of residence, which is useful when writing family history; 3. a list of aspirants adopted on 30 May 1937 after the first communion; 4. a list of Knights from August 1937.
