Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to present the analysis of the demonological motifs and depictions in novel A House on a Mountain (Дім на горі) by Valeriy Shevchuk. On the basis of two parts of this book we pay attention to the demonic characters that appear there and their impact on other human characters. This analysis is also based on the national and cultural relation to this updated question.
