Book in the Media – Media in the Book. Correspondence and Transpositions

Summary/Abstract: On 12th–13th October 2017, the Institute of Information and Library Science at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin in collaboration with Committee of Historical Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences organized the first conference “Book in the Media - Media in the Book. Correspondence and Transposition”. Its aim was to create a forum for discussion about the relationships between traditional books and another media forms. The article summarizes the conference and contains basic information about the presented papers.
