Third international scientific conference on socialism in Pula

Summary/Abstract: On September 28 to 30, 2017, the Center for Culturological and Historical Studies of Socialism of the Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia (Centar za kulturoloshkai povijesna istrazhivanja socijalizma, Sveuchilishte Jurja Dobrile u Puli), organized the third international conference dedicated to research of socialism under the title “Socialism on the Bench: Communists and Communist Parties. Policies, Actions, Debates”) (Socijalizam na klupi: Komunisti i komunistichke partije: politike, akcije, debate). The report presents the organizing institution and the event’s content,characterizing the conference as a very successful meeting of more than a hundred historians and specialists in other social sciences, mainly from countries of former Yugoslavia, on diverse aspects and issues of the history of (not only) Yugoslavia’s socialism.
