Summary/Abstract: Polish energy security policy is connected with the strategy of the European Union. The main priorities are sustainable development and reducing CO2 emissions. When the management includes an aspect of ecology, it increases competitiveness of a company. Despite the EU funds the modernization of industry is still very expensive. As a result the prices of products increase. What determines the energy security of Poland: the availability of energy resources, energy prices, economic aspects, political environment or ecology?
