Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, Family Businesses in Mexico face the complex situations that impact their development, growth and destiny. The transition from one generation to another, as well as preparation activities towards the succession, are a process of difficult and confusing scenarios in their assimilation. The objective of this research is to propose strategies to the Director of Corporativo GH, a company dedicated to the manufacture, distribution and commercialization of health products, in the incorporation and preparation of new members in the line of succession. For this research, the case study of Robert Yin, recognized author in the conceptualization and application of this methodology, is used as a research strategy that includes the method of direct interview and observation in facilities or physical objects (Yin 1994). For the results, three stages are established: first - a theoretical review in relation to other similar case investigations, second - the analysis for the election of the successor, and third - the succession plan towards the conformation of the family law council.
