Summary/Abstract: This article is a short analyse discribing two diferent points of view to the Roma topic. Both personalities are a very important authorities dealing with the research in this field. The first one is of today´s director of Department of ethonology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University and long term researcher of Roma culture Marek Jakoubek and the second one is the founder of the Roma studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University - Milena Hübschmannová.
