Summary/Abstract: The trip for Marcel Proust is, above all, a project to expose the aesthetic conception of the english esthete John Ruskin. Following the path recommended by the latter, Proust meets a number of cathedrals in France and Italy, which allows him to support, therefore, his own aesthetic design. The journey here precedes and prepares the design of In Search of Lost Time.
