Summary/Abstract: The author has recently been interested in Polish history and has read Episodes of Polish History written by Kim Yong-deog, a Professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, (Seoul: Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Knowledge Press, 2013) and several books on Polish history written by renowned British historian Norman Davies (1939-). After reading them, the author realized that Polish history is very interesting and, in some ways, has something in common with Korean history.
