Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to identify determinants and consumer preferences to the choice of places to buy groceries. It was found that the respondents generally choose supermarkets/hypermarkets, discount stores and average self-service stores. The most important factors determining the choice of places to buy groceries were low prices, the location close to the place of residence and high quality products.
