Care about philosophy

Summary/Abstract: Philosophy, being characteristic of human nature, asking questions about the ultimate meaning of the world and humanity, demands attention. Philosophers are responsible for good quality of philosophy. Bad philosophy ousts fair philosophy, and the development of institutions, magazines and the number of philosophical publications does not assure the quality of philosophy. The article draws attention to the numerous threats to which philosophy in Poland is exposed. It presents also some general principles to be considered in designing philosophical studies. They are: 1. The acceptance of pluralism of directions, methods and positions; 2. Reality (being), knowledge and language will remain the subject and the area of philosophical research; 3. Perennial philosophical aporia will find a new approach and rationale; 4. Philosophy must be a reliable, sterling exploration of its subject in terms of its ultimate conditions.
