Summary/Abstract: From the cognitive point of view camouflage is a method of using the limits of visual systems. Principally there are two forms of camouflage (visual masking, visual provocation). Adequately to the two types of camouflage we can speak about two forms of anticamouflage as cognitive recognitions of camouflaged object. In some cases it exists conscious anticamouflage based on visual memory and anticipation. Such anticamouflage is an example of perceptual modeling.
