Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of research on related capital, commonly referred to as relational capital, in family enterprises in Poland. The first part of the article describes the basic issues concerning the essence of family enterprises as well as relational capital, which includes elements such as sales networks, customer bases, partnership, creating the company’s reputation and brand, employee recruitment system and performing research and development projects by the company. For the functioning of a family enterprise, the most important role is played by family ties between employees, as well as the generational succession system. For the needs of the study, the thesis was made that family enterprises don’t have highly developed relational capital.
