Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a fuzzy TOPSIS method based on ordered fuzzy numbers with objective weights. The weights are calculated based on the defuzzified decision matrix using entropy. Different defuzzification methods of ordered fuzzy numbers are analyzed and the influence of these methods on the obtained weights, the ranking of weights and the ranking of alternatives. The paper includes the theoretical basis of the study and a numerical example. Summing up the results, it can be concluded that different methods of defuzzification give different weightings of criteria and their ranking. This causes the ranking of alternatives can depend on the method of defuzzification.
