Scholarship criteria and Scholarship Committee’s activity in the Social Studies Department at the Gdansk University

Summary/Abstract: Doctoral studies have had its present form for 10 years. In 2014/2015 academic year, there were 36458 stationary students at Polish universities; 8004 of them were given doctoral scholarship (23,2%) and another 8753 were using proquality subsidy (25,4%). The purpose of this article is to sum up the activity of the scholarship committee in the Social Studies Department at the Gdańsk University and indicating some substantial matters connected with the national system
