Summary/Abstract: One of the important determinants in the process of competing entities in the modern market economy is the quality of the accumulated human capital, defined measure of the possibility of acquiring qualifications. Proposed in the “Career Management” interpretation of the notion of a career can differentiate career from two perspectives: as an attribute of individuals but also as an attribute of the organization or profession. In the first case, the interpretation of the term career authors refers only to its subjective side. In the second case to the objective dimension. Featuring awareness of these limitations, a career can be defined as a pattern of experiences referenced to the operating environment of the unit, which to some extent determines the direction of its current existence. The aim of the study is to show the essence of career opportunities as an effective tool in the process of motivating future managers. On the basis of theoretical considerations, the article was presented to the path of professional development of future managers on the example of an international network of fast-food restaurants.
