Summary/Abstract: We are looking for landmarks that can still keep our identity. The concept of nation, with its impressive heritage; the concept of freedom to be and to do; the concept of democracy, is at the heart of culture. Culture refers to human actions that express in an objective form a value or a way of human freedom. Freedom between generations requires mutual respect and shared obligations, from which neither party should desert. Liberty requires law and discipline.
