Summary/Abstract: What does a dramaturg actually do? And why is the dramaturg missing from the Transylvanian theatrical tradition, both culturally and institutionally? What were his (her) tasks and position within the classical literary theatre, and how were these duties rewritten within contemporary theatre, as a result of the boundaries being blurred by joint creation processes? The young dramaturg Katalin Deák discusses these issues with András Visky, who is practically the sole representative of his profession in the Hungarian theatre of Romania.
