The image of „Łódź of Four Cultures” Festival in regional dailies of Łódź. Framing analysis perspective

Summary/Abstract: The article aims at presenting an image of „Łódź of Four Cultures” Festival in the regional dailies of Łódź: „Dziennik Łódzki” and „Express Ilustrowany” (2010–2014). The author used the framing analysis to examine the ways in which this cultural event related was reported in line with presenting history of Łódź and supporting multiculturalism. The press analysis was conducted by using the following frames: “the frame of conflict”, “the frame of human affairs”, “the frame of responsibility”, “the frame of morality” and “the frame of economy”.
