Summary/Abstract: The period of an intensive development of the cult of Saint Stanislaus Kostka fell in the interwar period. The popularity of this Saint among Polish youth was very important to Primate S. Wyszynski, who in the 1950s and 1960s put a strong emphasis on the organization of Christian ministry to the youth in Poland. The main role of the figure of St Stanislaus was to inspire young people to take courageous challenges, according to the call I was created to the higher things and to develop virtues and healthy piety. The culminating moment for the promotion of St Stanislaus Kostka’s cult was the celebration of the 400th anniversary of his death in Przasnysz and Rostkowo on 19 and 20 August 1967. The Primate of Poland attended the celebration. He pointed out, together with all the Episcopate, that the period of St Stanislaus had not been easy, because many people had rejected Catholicism. That is why, the Saint of Rostkowo can be a model of attachment to the faith, and, at the same time, impress the young physical and spiritual power, which was evidenced by his traveling alone from Vienna to Rome. Nowadays, there is still a need to discover the relevance of his mes¬sage to pedagogy in order to inspire young people to discover the profound values of St. Stanislaus Kostka.
