Intergenerational Transfers on Agricultural Farms

Summary/Abstract: The problem of taking over agricultural farms by young people is becoming more and more important. This is, however, only one of the elements of the intergenerational transfers on farms. Other flows between the generations in both directions, that is, from the older to the younger and vice versa, are among others: transfer of knowledge, care, financial support and transfer of work force. The aim of the article is to analyze the diversity of flows between generations on family farms.
