Summary/Abstract: This text is aimed at defining linguistic image of a scientist on the basis of opinions of members of academic environment – scientists and students, as well as teachers and office workers of the primary school. It has been elaborated on the issue of DAST research, which is a research method aiming at presentation of visual aspects of given phenomenon by means of drawings. The research group consisted of students aged between six and eleven. Moreover current state of research on the issue has been touched upon. The subject of the presented research is evaluation of two issues. First, to what extent the problem of lack of gender equality is noticeable among the members of the research group. Second, how the correctness of feminine names of occupations and titles is perceived. The members of research group have been asked to evaluate forms of address that refer to men and women. The outcome of the research enables presentation of linguistic awareness of gendered names. Moreover it enables description of modern scientist image features. The research concerns mainly Polish universities. What is more, selected features of Polish scientists. Gender features are taken into account in the proces of analysis.
