Application of Innovative Technologies in Forklift Trucks on the Basic of Ergonomic Factors

Summary/Abstract: The efficiency of the logistics process depends on the internal transport equipment, one of the most commonly used in the warehouse business enterprises, is undoubtedly the forklift truck. The shaping and choice of the means of internal transport is a key element of logistics in the warehouse. Due to the functionality and essence of logistical processes, the theme of forklifts truck requires rational decision making in their production. Achieving maximum forklift truck productivity is possible by adapting it to the tasks and conditions that are waiting for it. The study was based on the opinions of the forklift truck operators of a selected company with a well-developed warehouse management. Forklifts trucks operate 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, moving loads from the time of delivery through storage to the delivery to the customer. Operators have stated that there isn`t device that performs vertical and horizontal transport similar to forklift truck. On the basis of difficulties and discomfort experienced by the operators in the work has offered, attempts have been made to present different concepts of technical solutions.
