Summary/Abstract: With the entry into force of the revitalization act on November 18, 2015, a new chapter began in the coordination and conduct of revitalization activities in Polish municipalities. Statutory requirements for the development of municipal revitalization programs mean the designation of degraded areas and areas of revitalization based on a thoroughly conducted diagnosis in five areas: social, economic, technical, spatial, functional and environmental. Statistical data have fundamental significance for its implementation. The aim of the article is to present the application of statistics in diagnostics and monitoring the implementation of revitalization programs. The case study was adopted as the main method of analysis and presentation of results.
