Summary/Abstract: In order to evaluate the functioning of the distribution network, time at which the goods are delivered to the individual customers is crucial. These processes play an important role in the accompanying movement of goods and infrastructure. Transportation accessibility has been used as a means of assessing delivery time in the context of the time of delivery of goods. In the distribution network of goods from China, which are going through Lodz to the European market, times of distribution of goods from the location of the container terminal located in Łódź to the capitals of European countries have been analyzed. To Lodz, goods are imported by rail transport and then distributed mostly by road transport. The aim of this article is to estimate the time of delivery of goods by road from container terminals located in Łódź to the capitals of individual European countries. The results show that infrastructure delays in Poland do not adversely affect the distribution of goods from Lodz to the vast majority of European state capitals due to good communication thanks to the A2 motorway.
