Summary/Abstract: The article considers the concept of the identity of management sciences as a package of views on culture, society, science, man and philosophy, which are shared by researchers. The goal is to answer the question whether postmodernism is an essential component of the identity of management sciences. The article presents some assumptions of postmodern thought, especially those relating to knowledge, science and truth. This paper considers the results of presented views, which are visible in contemporary management sciences, in order to recognize that one can speak about the strong influence of postmodernism on the subject identity. The article reflects on it by presenting some directions of criticism of postmodernism.
