Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the research results with regard to associations between net work relationships intensity and the flexibility of organizational strategy and structure of the entities embedded in the inter-organizational network. It has been assumed that the higher intensity of inter-organizational relationships, the higher flexibility of organizational strategy (H1) and structure (H2) of the entities encompassed in the networks. As for the research methods, the survey and cross case study research designs have been incorporated. On the basis of the research results it has been concluded that inter-organizational cooperation may lead, on one hand, to partial flexibility of organizational strategy and structure (within some dimensions) and on the other hand to rigidify those core organizational elements.
