Summary/Abstract: NATO is richly experienced in the international conflicts prevention. Alliance possesses prepared to the crisis management structures, abilities and mechanisms which guarantee the international security assurance. The purpose of the article is to introduce the evolution of the NATO crisis management system and show the directions of its improvement. The assessment of the crisis management role and significance in the NATO’s strategy is done in this article. The influence of hybrid threats on NATO member states security was diagnosed in the article and the changes into the system of the NATO crisis management were suggested which will let adapting the Alliance to changing international conditions. In the conclusions of the article, the need of building the resistance to hybrid threats in the military and civil spheres was pointed out.
