Summary/Abstract: In this paper we investigate the effect of different salts of heavy metals on the accumulation of lipid peroxidation products in the vegetative organs (roots, stems and leaves). Effects of salts Cd, Co, Mn, and Mo were investigated on based on introduced its salts in the nutrient solution in seedlings of oats and peas. Lipid peroxidation was assessed by changes in the content of hydroperoxides, MDA and intensity of chemiluminescence. Studies were conducted on etiolated plants oats and peas grown in nutrient solutions. The studies found that solutions of salts of cadmium, cobalt, manganese and molybdenum made in certain concentrations induced protective intensification of lipid peroxidation products, and its accumulation in vegetative organs. Cobalt salts at a concentration of 10-4 M caused the most noticeable increase in lipid peroxidation in vegetative organs of plants. Furthermore, the highest intensity of lipid peroxidation is found in the leaves oats and pea at action cobalt salts. It is shown that the pea plant more tolerant to heavy metals, according to the magnitude of lipid peroxidation products.
