Project Management in Network Configurations – an Evolutionary Approach

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the project management issues in networked environment. The organization in the network was the basis for analysis of the project management evolution. The theoretical considerations allowed to distinguish three stages of evolution: project management „inside” the organization, „interorganization” project management and „ephemeral” project management. Then, the stages were characterized by five cognitive categories (genesis, structure, resources, flows and knowledge management).
