Entrepreneur in the Procedure of Access to Public Information

Summary/Abstract: Although access to public information is an authority control tool, it may also concern entrepreneurs. First of all, access to public information may serve to gain information needed for running commercial activity by entrepreneurs. On the other hand, the right may concern entrepreneur indirectly because public information itself contains information on the entity running a business. If another entity wants to gain such information, entrepreneur is protected by business secret. Finally, in some cases, entrepreneur itself may be the addressee of public information application. The last case concerns mainly the situations when entrepreneur takes advantage of public funds.
