DATA COLLECTION USING FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the presented article is to present the possibilities of collecting data in an enterprise. Until now, accounting systems have been the most important tool for collecting and classifying data, however, this obligation is taken over by data management units and elementary data can be collected using financial dimensions. The article is based on literature studies as well as observation in the functioning of the data management department in a production company. The author indicates the possibilities of using such a solution in business practice, presents an example of the list of financial dimensions that can be used, indicates the advantages of such a solution in relation to the collection of data for management purposes in the accounting system.
