Summary/Abstract: The article raises the issue of cost savings as an important premise in outsourcing decisions taken by managers of public organizations. The aim of the article is to analyze service costs and transaction costs in the life cycle of an outsourcing service based on the example of two public entities that have outsourced ancillary services.
