Summary/Abstract: Modern e-learning solutions, based on online learning methods, have many advantages over traditional courses and training. These include permanent access to multimedia materials and presentations as well as video materials, interactive ways to check progress and a learning pace that suits participants. Often participation in such courses is cheaper than in traditional courses and training. Are these solutions effective when increasing the level of knowledge in the field of logistics? This study aims to present the case of a group of 30 students who used the online course - Electronic Logistics Platform - prepared by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan. The article presents the essence of e-learning solutions, the characteristics and capabilities of the Electronic Logistics Platform, the definition of the effectiveness and efficiency assessment of the training. For the aim of research, an attempt to evaluate the e-learning effectiveness in the field of logistics using statistical analysis of competency tests, which students were subjected to at the entrance (before training) and exit (after training) was adopted. Based on the assessment of their progress, an effort was made to determine the valuation of the increase in qualifications as a result of learning by calculating the increase in human capital value of the e-learning graduate.
