Laudatio in the Granting of the Otokar Fischer Award to Nora Schmidt

Summary/Abstract: In the middle of May this year in the Goethe Institute in Prague, was the second time handed The Otokar Fisher Award. With this award the Institute for the Study of Literature seeks to highlight the most important publishing achievements in the field of Bohemistic research in a linguistic and a broad-based sense (more www.ipsl.cz/cof). In 2017, Tilman Kasten's Historic Criticus was thus exposed versus Heilsgeschichte - Die Wallenstein-Romane von Alfred Döblin und Jaroslav Durych (see author's lecture in the Word and meaning 28/2017). This year was awarded the Erfurt slavist Nora Schmidt for her work Flanerie in der tschechischen Literatur. Flaneure, Prager Spaziergänger und flanierende Schreibweisen von Jan Neruda bis Michal Ajvaz.
