Summary/Abstract: In the article, a question of what is the meaning of a paid job for grown-up persons with moderate or severe intellectual disability is discussed. On the basis of in-depth interviews, 19 case studies were analyzed, which describe experiences related to the employment of intellectually disabled Warsaw district inhabitants.
