Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with a complex and multifaceted problem of an exposure on the events of February 1917 in Russia socalled “allies factor”, ie the impact of the Allied Governments on revolutionary events in Petrograd , not only on example of heads of states, but also by ordinary foreign citizens and local press. The author used a wide range of sources, including materials of the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Archives of France, for example|, fond of socialist Minister of Armaments Albert Thomas, which is stored in the National Archives of France, and allows for a different look at the background of the June 1917 attack of the Russian army on the Eastern Front. Separately, the author explored the problem of so-called “migrantpacifists” from Russia and their return to Russia after the overthrow of the monarchy. Special attention paid to the position of the 12 allied powers and, above all, France to the propaganda campaign against the Bolshevik Party and collaboration of Bolshevik leaders with the German authorities. This work re-opens the debate on the role and influence of foreign powers on the development of the military situation on the Eastern Front in 1917, as well as on the development of a revolutionary situation in Russia.
