Summary/Abstract: The previously reported 6-amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-methyl-1,4-dihydropyrano [2, 3-c] pyrazole-5-carbonitrile 1 was prepared and utilized as a precursor for novel heterocycles such as Benzoxazinone 4, Pyrazolopyranopyrimidines 8, 9, 12, 13 and 20 tetrazolopyrimidine 15 and triazolopyrimidine 16 with anticipated antimicrobial activity. The structural features of these novel heterocycles were characterized and confirmed by their spectral analysis as well as elemental analyses.
