Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the library journal Zajednica biblioteka (Library Community), published by the Parent Library Community of Serbia in the period from 1970 to 1997. This journal takes an important place in the history of Serbian periodicals in the .eld of librarianship, because in a very dynamic period of development it provided extraordinarily useful professional information and instructions to the libraries in SR Serbia. This journal is also a relevant indicator of the Serbian librarianship development, which at that time had a great potential and successfully followed the modern professional achievements in the world.
