Polish innovation in the background of countries the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present and evaluate the innovativeness of Polish enterprises. The author concludes that despite the increase in the number of innovations introduced in Poland in recent years, its level compared to other European Union countries is still at a very low level. Poland is still in the group of the least developed countries in terms of innovation.
