Summary/Abstract: Lieutenant colonel Andronache Gheorghe was a participant in World WarOne, in the Tzarist Army, 2nd Cavalry Regiment. In 1917 he became member of MoldavianSoldier Committee in Iași and participated in events organized for the defense and stabilization of the situation in Moldavian towns and villages. In the same year, he was promoted to the Moldavian Soldier Committee in Chișinăuand the Moldavian Troops Congress named him Commander of the Guard and CavalryDetachment for public order in Chișinău, ensuring the defense and protection of significant objectives in the city and of the members of Country Council.
