Summary/Abstract: The article tells about the components of the linguocultural level. A specific semiotic system becomes a result of the interaction of language and culture. The language signs get a new semiotic function, becoming elements of culture. They include basic metaphors, symbols, standards, measures, precedent names, non-denotational units, charms. Integral signs of semantics of the linguocultural level elements are anthropocentrism, prototypicality, figurativeness.
