Summary/Abstract: The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is a priority for consolidating the positions of the Russian Federation in the hydrocarbon market of the Asia-Pacific region. A characteristic trend in the period up to 2030 is to strengthen the professional guidance of young people, aimed at participation in industrial and infrastructure projects. It is necessary to bring the structure of the training of specialists and workers in accordance with the needs of the labor market. In this paper we consider main tasks to upgrade vocational education system.
