Summary/Abstract: In Turkish culture history, Alevi-Bektashism is a form of culture which has Islamic root. Alevi-Bektashism with its core and words relies on wisdom, science, and love as Hz. Ali relocated them into the central. Alawism is a system which requires controlling hands, tongue and desires as individual behaviour; being greater and alive as a social principle; and taking human being to forefront. In social relationship of Alevi-Bektashism, there is a range of beliefs and rituals in dualist nature. In Anatolia, Alevi-Bektashism and Sunnism both have their specific place as a typical form in the mosaic and the pyramid of the same society. Alevi-Bektashism with the time of Republic has caused social-cultural changes on its members. In this study, heterodox terms for Alevi-Bektashism and orthodox terms for Sunnism will be used. In short, Alevi-Bektashism in Turkish Heterodoxy as known with its specific characteristic will be taken into account as a sociological term which has multi factorial, social and theological features. In this study, Alevi-Bektashies will be placed into the mosaic and the pyramid of the society.
