A PILOT STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF RIGHT HAND PLAYING TECNIQUE WITH PLECTRUM PREPARATION AT OUD EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: Tecnique is very important at oud education like other instruments. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of right hand playing tecnique with plectrum preparation at oud education. Researcher aimed to develop a technique that can ease playing oud with this study. This study was carried out in the direction of this aim. Action research that is a design of qualitative research method was used. Study sample was constituted with three undergraduate students. It was observed after pilot study that “right hand playing tecnique with plectrum preparation” contributed to students from the standpoint of “playing easily”, “enough voice volume” and “rhythmic consistency”. Also students state positive expressions about MHSEÇT after this study. It’s believed to need more studies which will be planned with more samples.
