Summary/Abstract: Nasreddin Hodja, as is known, is a type of clause that is recognized in most of the Turkish tribes. The institutions and social values criticized by Nasreddin Hodja are also very similar. In this aspect, the Nasreddin Hodja jokes are among the values of Turkish culture which have been social control and criticism from the past to the present. Nasreddin Hodja's contributions to the field of social criticism should be dealt with separately in the other Turkish tribes of Nasreddin Hodja jokes who criticize the deficiencies of society and want to control social life and control social life. In this respect, the social criticism of the Nasreddin Hodja jokes in the field of Turkmenistan, which has important partnerships with the Nasreddin Hodja jokes, is the main area of interest of this article. The article aims to contribute to the studies conducted on Nasrettin Hoca type as a result of the results of the article which aims to find and evaluate the events, situations and types criticized in the Nasreddin Hodja jokes formed in the region.
