Summary/Abstract: This study was carried out in order to reveal the drug use status of individuals using drugs. For this purpose, the type of drug use, frequency of use, whether or not the use of drugs in or around the family, whether or not he considered himself addicted was investigated. Research data were collected by interviewing 81 drug users using snowball sampling method. According to the results of the study, the participants stated that they used more than one type of drugs after they started to use drugs. They stated that they had very easy access to drugs and that their families or friends had an effect on their first use. It has been found that more than half of the drug users use at least one person in their family. It was found that the age of first use decreased to 10 years of age. It was determined that the substance of substance abuse at an early age was higher than the others.
