Summary/Abstract: Paternalist therapy for patients, based on the conceptualization and implementation of the care plan ended with the birth of the digital age. The emergence of the concept of “Digital Health” was a paradigm shift in the provision of medical services. Studies conducted to date provide encouraging evidence of the benefits of using technology with medical applications. Eloquent examples in this regard are telemedicine, medical robotics, VR technology, the internet, mobile telephony. The digital revolution in medicine has improved access to medical information, but also to various means of investigation and ways of intervention for curative purposes. This article addresses the application of homebased musical therapy to patients with chronic illnesses through digital technology.
