Summary/Abstract: Entrepreneurship education has become an educational priority in Europe and beyond, and there exist various practical interpretations. Examining it from the perspective of the capability approach, the purpose of this paper is to analyse the concept and its implications in educational (and not primarily economic) terms as these relate to people’s faculty to act and to the goal of human development, but also separate from the theoretical circuit of human capital and from a figure of self-entrepreneur. Consequently, this paper will focus on the importance of teacher-training aimed at supporting the rationale for enterprise education, relying on methodological proposals inspired by recent advancements in cultural historical activity theory.
