Project maturity as a mechanism of identification of origins of success and failures in the project management

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to discuss the project maturity as the organization’s ability to understand the causes of success and failures in the process of project management. The starting point is the presentation of the characteristics of the project maturity of the organization and some of its models, which allows next to conclude that organizations that have perfectly mastered the management of projects, operate much more efficiently, are able to cope with change and understand the causes of their success and failures, and in consequence use it for their own benefit which is the development of the organization.
